Eye Makeup Tips

Hello hope your all doing well! This post is just going to cover my 5 tips when doing your eye makeup! Hope you find this useful if you have any more questions just leave a comment below. Thanks for reading!

Tip #1- Cream eye shadows are known to crease so when applying cream eye shadows always set with a powder eyeshadow. It makes your eyeshadow last longer and keeps it from creasing. Think of the cream eyeshadow as a base. Don't forget to still apply an eyeshadow primer!

Tip #2- When you apply mascara use 2-3 coats to make your lashes appear longer and fuller. You can even try using 2-3 different mascara combinations to achieve a certain dramatic look. But be careful when using lengthening fiber mascaras they tend to get clumpy so if your using a mascara that has those little fibers use only that or use last after a first coat of a different mascara.

Tip #3- Eyebrows is one of my most important make-up steps. I find that filling them in makes a huge difference and really helps with framing your face. You can use a matte eyeshadow or eyebrow pencil. When choosing a shade always go 2-3 shades lighter than your eyebrow color and and if you have light color eyebrows always chose a color 2-3 shades darker. That way your eyebrows will still look natural and not harsh.

Tip #4- If you feel like doing a natural eye makeup look but still want your eyes to stand out and be the focal point of your face try doing a more dramatic winged eyeliner. The easiest eyeliner to use when doing a winged liner would be a liquid liner you can be very precise. My favorite liquid liners are the ones that look like a marker with a felt tip, this type of liquid liner is great for beginners and you have more control when doing winged looks.

Tip #5- If you have any fallout after applying your eyeshadow tap a big fluffy brush into a loose translucent powder and dust the fallout away. You can even stipple the translucent powder under your eyes and above your cheek bones before doing your eye makeup and just lightly dust it away after you finish doing your eyeshadow.
